Does he feel scared about that fact? Anxious maybe?does he live every day of his life wondering whether Diluc has decided to expose what he truly is to the rest of monstadt?

Or maybe he simply trusts Diluc so to say,maybe that was the reason he told Diluc in the first place,Sure Diluc might hate him for that, despise him even,but he wouldn't ruin his life,not after what he went through,would he?

I've just been thinking about this a lot lately.

That's a good question.

Being honest here, I do think that Kaeya has definitely that small feeling of fear he might expose him to the rest of Mondstadt, to the Ordo Favonius. Yet, on the other hand is there Diluc's 'no longer caring about Kaeya' thing which gives the vibe of that he wouldn't expose him, for the careless being and even a bit for Kaeya's own protection.

Kaeya hiding the fact he was a spy and assassin surely wasn't nice, but you also cant just everyday walk up to your siblings being like "Hey, I am a spy and assassin sent to do X and X.", no. Diluc hates him for that, sure, but he wouldn't or atleast I think he wouldn't expose him.

I'd like to see Kaeya as the actually last remaining person Diluc has; his brother. Both of the might definitely not show it but there are too many hints that they do secretly care about the other one still. Maybe this isn't of importance, but the wonderful vase Kaeya gifted to Diluc, maybe just to annoy him even, still has its standing at the winery. You dont throw gifts away, do you? Maybe gifts from a someone you hate, but in Diluc's case he kept the vase.
