Commuters Protest Against Noida Metro Fast Train Service

Noida Metro fast train service
Last month on February 8, Noida Metro Rail Corporation NMRC started fast metro service on the Aqua Line route with the objective of reducing the travel time from Noida to Greater Noida. Under this service, the fast metro train runs during peak hours while skipping 10 low ridership metro stations of this route.

This service saves the travel time by 9 minutes, which has benefited many commuters, but there was a lot of problem for those commuters whose metro station near their residence was skipped to fast metro service. Commuters were demanded from NMRC to open some such metro stations for this service in peak hours, but due to lack of clear response from the concerned authorities, now the passenger has started protesting for it.
Issue with Noida Metro fast train
Some commuters have been suffering a lot due to the Noida Metro's fast train skipping ten metro stations of the Aqua Line route including sector 50 and sector 101 metro stations at Peak Hour. As per PTI report, on February 28, a group of local residents protested against this fast metro service of Noida Metro Rail Corporation NMRC.
With the intention of reducing the travel time from Noida to Greater Noida by Metro, Noida Metro Rail Corporation NMRC started fast metro service on the Aqua Line route from February 8, which is operated by skipping ten metro station of this route during peak hours (8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM) on weekdays.┬а
