You may notice how I arranged these characters in a specific order, something I have been doing for a long time. While most of them are based on the date of creation, it gets muddy as you delve deeper into a more technical level.
(long read below)
Starting with Emilie: at least conceptually, she was the first character I made, and the one that started it all. She went through a series of radical changes around 2021, which would see her "original" form being repurposed into another character Yuri (who ironically ends up being her girlfriend later on). This would be followed by her new, "rebooted" version coming to life as the Emilie we all know today, while the original incarnation of her became Emmalee instead.
Embel was originally a ranger, whose identity is now Leona, and is the second character I made, as well as the only other character made when I was still free-to-play baby. Her Warrior version was made just before End of Dragon dropped and I have been doing story with her since.
Nellie was the third, and the oldest character to more or less retain her identity without going through too many drastic changes throughout the years. Justine followed shortly after.
Douglas was the theoretical first Norn that I made as a joke around 2019. He survived for two years before I removed him from my roster, and he wouldn't return until 2025.
Corolla physically went through drastic changes throughout the year, and honestly not the proudest characters I have made. Unlike other characters, her personality has been dumbed down to the point of becoming a parody of a human female meta meme, as opposed to becoming more developed as time goes on. The saving grace is that other characters seem to have incorporated a semblance of her initial personality into them.
Condina and Knelson are among two of the characters that has a biological relation to Emilie, and originally served as NPCs to be killed off at some point, but the vast amount of time spent on developing their personality via roleplay and creative writing has fleshed them out way beyond my initial expectation.
Brandon was meant to be Knelson's loyal soldier, who I didn't like him initially and made him into Smith instead. Much like Douglas, he wouldn't return until much later as a separate character.
Yuri (as mentioned earlier) and Skia were both made roughly at the same time, based on then-Emilie and Condina respectively, which would end up determining their order of roster.
Smith was one of the two characters who have survived the "purging" of my roster at some point, when I would remove characters I had no interest in playing or developing them. He would later become my main character to play Guild Wars 2 with.
Ariel was added mainly because of my return from my time with Final Fantasy XIV, where the same character would be made there a few months prior.
Cyrus was originally served as a foil to Knelson's character arc, but later was made to be more of a wild card as the timeline went on, both in-character and out-of-character.
Mr.G was the other character of the two who survived the aforementioned "purging". He would also be among a few characters of mine that actually existed outside of Guild Wars 2 before his creation.
Sasha was originally meant to play a bigger role in Smith's story, before branching off to have her own story arc.
Lisah and Jade (under a different name) were originally made during the beta event prior to the launching of End of Dragons, with the latter being created, deleted, and re-created a few years later.
Emmalee was made around 2022, a year after Emilie became more or less a reformed character, now serving as a personified incarnation of her original character.
Amelia was created following the "multiverse craze" that was happening around that era, taking on an "evil alter-ego" spin of Emilie in the form of Vindicator.
Anything after this appeared to have slowed down significantly, with Reine, Leona, Serena, and Jodi being made months, if not years after each other.
Leona was also the only one from above who was made from an existing ranger, who at that time was taking the identity of Yuri, as opposed to Embel originally.
While not directly related to Corolla, Reine also seemed to have taken the role of being Emilie's childhood friend, a role which was left behind by her as a side effect of dumbing down the character.
