Hey Gang, 

Sorry we've been out of touch. No electricity at ANY of the staff's houses!! 

Hopefully you have electricity / are staying warm! Funny how suddenly everything gets put into perspective huh? One day worrying about quarterlies, the next hoping that you can take a shower, or just not be shivering in your own living room!! 

Just checked and yes it is true, NJ State Championships has been postponed to next Sunday, November 11th. 

Also as far as I've been informed, the football game is being postponed to next Friday as well. 

No official word on what next week's school week is going to look like. 

Preliminarily, we need to know how many of you have already planned to be away next weekend / will be unable to participate in NJ State Championships. We are aware that this is the weekend that many of you have planned your college visits etc. 

So, if you could please email me back to let me know either way if you'd be able to participate in NJ States next Sunday, Nov. 11th, that'd be great!

I was so happy going to states this weekend.

I invited all of my family to come.

What am I supposed to do now?

Ok, so today's Halloween.

We were supposed to have our Halloween party tonight.

Rehearsal was cancelled Monday and I think today.

We only have rehearsal on Saturday.

We have NJStates on Sunday.

Our movement 2 is a wreck, and this week we were gonna spend cleaning the shit out of it.

Rehearsal  on Saturday was supposed to be at 12. Now it's at 10.

Our field was already a piece of shit, now we're being bused to a high school with turf to rehearse on Saturday, which hasn't even been planned out yet.

I don't even know if there's going to be a football game this week; I'm kind of hoping  we do though.

So, please tell me when we're going to rehearse movement 2. I don't think we can spend ALL of Saturday just rehearsing movement 2, there's little things here and there in the other movements that need to be adjusted/fixed.

I just hope NJStates go well...

Guise,, this is one of my last marching band posts until May.

I think I might cry.

I'm not in high school (8th graders can join band and 7th graders can join guard) so I won't be able to see my seniors for the rest of the year.

But I love them so much.
