It’s not easy being the runt. Anuka (coatl) is bigger than their siblings now but as a hatchling they were the smallest of the brood and often felt intimidated by their brother and sister. Vero and Nisaline didn’t quite get why their fluffy sibling always whimpered around them but they assumed they just needed some comfort and would try their best to help. There was never any bullying of any kind between them. Don’t worry. Anuka just wasn’t sure how act around their siblings and the other two often misread their distressed signals and need for space as wanting attention. Also:
When two different breeds of dragon have a nest the offspring will take after one of their parents but can share smaller physical traits with the other. In this case a rare anomaly occurred with Nisaline. She was born a mirror but has feathered wings like her coatl mother as well as a forked tongue. Vero has the forked tongue. Anuka has no physical traits of a mirror but they do have a penchant for meat as well as seafood. This could be just from watching their siblings eat it as well.
