Anonymous asked:Â 50 dialogue prompts: 13 - âI thought you were dead.â i feel mean abt this to wen ning for some reason lol but i wonder if u can write wen ning? any wen ning ship if u have any but if not, whichever ship first came to mind with this prompt! :)
A/N: TBH I havenât thought much about Wen Ning ships which is a shamee! Heâs so cute, please give him some love... I hope to rectify that now. Can you count how many ships are implied in this? (: Content warnings: big time dubcon/noncon!, some WRH/WN and implied one-sided WWX/WN, set during the sunshot campaign, not at all fact-checked yet so if I contradict canon some way or another, whoops?, heavy angst!Â
Send me a ship and a prompt
Amidst the haste of the war, someone with as muted a presence as Wen Ning easily slipped through the cracks. Whoâd pay attention to the little mouse hurrying to his room, when there was a battle crawling towards them? He wasnât going to be much help anyway. He was not a soldier. He preferred to follow his sister wherever she went and provide assistance for the sickly and injured.
One person, however, did take notice of Wen Ning.Â
âQionglin!âÂ
And it just so happened to be the last person Wen Ning wanted to see.Â
He'd managed to avoid Wen Chao for a while. Even when they were in the same camp, Wen Ning did his utmost to make sure they wouldnât meet. It was a bold move; one that would bring him painful consequences if it ever came to light. After all, Sect Leader Wen himself had agreed to let his son âunwindâ with Wen Ning whenever he wanted (provided Sect Leader Wen wasnât already using him for the same purpose).Â
âI thought you were dead! Where the hell have you been?â Wen Chao seized his wrist like he wanted to break it, like a child who didnât know how to handle a small animal. Wen Ning was helpless in his grip.
If he made the smallest attempt at pulling back, Wen Chao dug his fingers into him until Wen Ningâs hand numbed. He was used to rough treatment, but this time, it was brutal.
âY-young master Wen! Donât you have somewhere to be?âÂ
Heâd learned not to say it hurts; it rarely served any purpose; but he didnât have to, this time. Wen Chao saw little tears gathering on the corners of Wen Ningâs eyes; he became aware of the force he was using, and relaxed. Instead, he grabbed Wen Ning by the waist.
âItâs okay,â he said in a tone that was most different from before. His voice now was that of a child comforting the animal heâd almost suffocated. âFather knows, itâs okay.âÂ
As soldiers ran around, Wen Chao dragged Wen Ning to his room.Â
âI have to leave.âÂ
âLeave? No, no, youâll be safe here with me. Wen ZhuLiu will take care of you.â Wen Chao had not let go of his waist. One hand held him while the other fiddled with Wen Ningâs sash belt.
Despite not directly calling him, Wen Chaoâs bodyguard appeared at the door, blocking any of Wen Ningâs plans to escape, as if Wen Chao had known about them beforehand.
âWen ZhuLiu, make sure weâre not disturbed.âÂ
Wen ZhuLiu didnât care about Wen Chaoâs affairs; it was not his place to say anything, so he didnât.Â
Wen Ning cried internally. Entertaining Wen Chao for the night was one thing. He slept like a corpse, and if Wen Ning wasnât trapped under him when they finished, he could sneak away and find his sister before sunrise, but if Wen ZhuLiu was guarding the door, it wouldnât be so easy.Â
Wen Chao didnât wait for Wen ZhuLiu to stop looking before he dove in for Wen Ningâs lips.Â
Wen Ning pulled back.Â
âWhatâs wrong?â Wen Chao asked, irritated.
âIâŚâ Wen Ningâs mouth moved stupidly until he settled on a response that would please Wen Chao. âDonât want him to hear...âÂ
Wen Chao was an easy man to excite, and much easier to handle than someone like Wen RuoHan. Seeing Wen Ning so shy, he immediately yelled for Wen ZhuLiu to scram for the night.Â
It wasnât the ideal outcome; Wen Ning still had to deal with Wen Chao for the night. But he could manage that much.Â
He comforted himself with thoughts of that person; the person that had seen his potential and didnât laugh at him; the person that had thanked him for his help and hadnât asked anything in return. Wen Ning wondered how he was doing, and in doing so, he managed to forget about the person thrusting into him.Â
âQionglin, ahh, Qionglin... Youâll stay, right? Donât go to my father anymore. Be mine...âÂ
During these moments, Wen Ning realized that Wen Chao, with all his forceful grips and obnoxious overconfidence, was really quite pathetic. Though, wasnât Wen Ning even more pathetic? Heâd surrendered to Wen Chao, after all. Â
âQionglin, promise me...âÂ
What would Young Master Wei think of him, Wen Ning wondered.Â
