— [ ♡ ] dance studios are practically a second home for yooa. being that she’s been dancing since she was six years old, it’s no surprise then that a large portion of her life has been spent in a studio. realistically, she could have given up on dancing when she moved to the states and her mother no longer had any control over her life, but over the years, she’s grown to love and enjoy the sport. old habits die hard. however, there always has been a sport that she’s been interested in but could never commit herself to trying because her schedule has always been so jam packed. she should be grateful then that she’s found a friend who’s willing to teach her. 

❝ thanks for offering to teach me. ❞ yooa says as she crosses her arms together to stretch them out. if anything, it’s a mutual exchange: she would learn the basics of the sport that she’s always wanted to try, while nina, well, she’s not sure if the younger really wanted to expand, but nina would learn how to dance outside the space of whatever style cheer dances were. she grins at the younger to complete the list of eager features she could have.  ❝ i probably look incredibly dumb right now, but i’m just really excited that we’re doing this.❞

there’s a certain coolness in the breeze during the event’s last evening that juwon didn’t expect so he’s glad he decided to bring the sweater he’s got. even now as the students huddle around the bonfine he feels a small shiver running down his spine, fingers tugging to pull the hood over his head before he tucks them into the warmth of its pockets. he usually likes to just follow whoever’s in front of him during events like these and the chances of him taking a seat next to his ex is probably slim. slim and yet the familiar scent consumes him, the very same one she used years back when they first started dating. which is amusing to him how he remembers, taking in the fact that it’s been forever since they actually last sat with each other this closely. 

“i should have known it was you.” he turns his head and smiles when he does confirm his assumptions, giving her a pat on the shoulder before noticing how cold the other is. “no sweater tonight?”
