The sunrise and, in this instance the sunset in the northern lands of Lofoten Islands are very long. The coloured lights with the broken ice on the shore are great together and they create cool coloured shades.

There are many frozen beaches and tall mountains in Lofoten islands. I took this shot during a sunset, very quickly, and this image is made by only one shot, because the light and all the frame was quite good balanced. I LOVE that peak that seems a shark fin *.

Gunmen Kill District Governor In Nimruz, Afghanistan

Gunmen riding on a motorcycle have killed district chief in western Nimruz province of Afghanistan.

According to reports, Aqa Mohammad Fazeli, the governor of Chakhansur district was on his way to work in Zaranj, the provincial capital when he suddenly came under attack by the two gunmen on Monday morning.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
