High Republic Week day 2: For Light and Life!
the Jedi are far-and-away my favorite part of the High Republic. i have loved the Jedi ever since i was a little kid seeing Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon leap into danger to rescue Amidala and her entourage from battle droids for the first time.
the High Republic has given us a unique look into the lives of Jedi outside of just them facing combat and external conflict. we’ve gotten stories of Jedi initiates like Nima and Viv’nia in Edge of Balance or Tep Tep, Gavi, and Kildo in Phase III’s comics and middle grade books. we’ve had stories of Padawans like Rooper and Matty in Phase II and Reath and Bell in Phase I, knights like Keeve and Vernestra in Phase I and Bell and Imri in Phase III, and Masters throughout.
the Jedi are at the heart of the High Republic and i am so, so grateful for it.
