Stari the Pac-Mage (She/They)

Enrolled in a magic academy, driven by her love for magic and a determination to help and protect others (was also inspired by her favorite fantasy RPGs but doesn’t want to admit that)

Has good skill but low confidence which affects her magic abilities. Knows a bit of offensive magic to hinder ghosts, but really wants to learn how to use her magic to help instead of harm

Uses the energy from Power Pellets to enhance their magic (can have varying effects). Does not eat them because they don’t taste good

Very determined and loyal, while a bit uptight, self-conscious, and opinionated. Somewhat by-the-books, but it wasn’t until meeting Donny that she began to step outside her comfort zone to discover a more rebellious side

Learned a lot about ghost behaviors and culture from Donny, which gave her a deeper appreciation and fascination of ghosts. After her own adventure, they decide to remain on Ghost Island to continue helping the ghosts and turned her magical attention towards astronomy and fortune-telling

Donny the Shade Ghost (He/They/It)

A subspecies of Ghost with the ability to merge into shadows. Rumor is that their ghost appearance is just a disguise and that their true form is the stuff of nightmares, but it’s just a rumor. Probably…

Doesn’t get along well with other ghosts but knows a lot about them as he just likes to roam around and ghost-watch. Generally keeps to themselves and they also never go out during the day

Really enjoys old school retro games and early handhelds. Often sneaks into arcades at night

Ran into Stari by chance but found they had a lot in common and decided to help her with her magic. Became pretty attached and protective of them over time

Appears aloof and distant, but can engage in thoughtful discussion and playful banter. Sometimes speaks seriously or dismissively but likes to be sarcastic and poke fun. Doesn’t like to talk about itself though and will deflect questions
