A fine rendition. A bright, warm, handsome voice, just the right balance between the more manly sound of â80s/early â90s Marii and the light, boyish sound of most recent ones, and after an understated start, he fills the song with vivid raw anguish. His English is excellent for a non-native speaker too â if I didnât know he was Swedish, I would genuinely think he was British.

Hi! Sorry I know you have probably a tag for it but I'm not good with tumblr so I'm not sure how to find it... :( I was wondering if you know something about the cast of the upcoming Swedish production of the Phantom? Thank you in any case, I love your blog! Very interesting!
Hi there! Little or nothing has been revealed about the cast for the upcoming Stockholm production, except that Peter Jöback will play the Phantom.
Like the rest of the phandom, Iâm pretty certain Emmi Christensson will be the productionâs Christine - and her leaving the West End production in June 2016 can correspond well for when rehearsals stars in Stockholm. But nothing is confirmed here, mind you.
As for the others, beats me. I have multiple friends and colleagues who auditioned, but only one callbacks. Some of the people auditioning are brilliant and seasoned performers, I was mighty surprised they didnât get a callback, so as of now I have no idea what theyâre looking for. Maybe lots of new faces, maybe someone Peter Jöback has had in mind for the roles (as it seems he gets his way with most of the creative decisions).
I use the tag âpoto swedenâ for the original production, and âpoto sweden revivalâ for the upcoming production. Though I suspect I might have used the first tag on the revival early on, before deciding to separate between them, so you might wanna check both.
