Playing around with humans was something that he more as just enjoyed doing. He loved to mess around with them and lead them into traps. What else was he supposed to do when some of this creatures even decided to hunt him down? So far no one has really got close to catch him or hurt him and he would continue to see all of this as a game. 

What he didn’t know was that all  of this was going to change soon. 

Christophe was sitting on one of the threes in the forest, thinking about what he could do. Truth be told, he was more as just bored and he certainly didn’t want to return to hell or go and seek for humans to annoy right now. 

In the other hand it was really nice to just sit there and not worry about anything. Also he might be able to come up with something to annoy the next humans that would dare to annoy him. 

What he didn’t expect was to someone show up and find him. 

He only noticed it when he heard something. A crack. Christophe looked down only to see a person standing there. It was not another demon, he could pretty much tell this. It was just an ordinary human. Well, not really ordinary because Christophe could see what the other had in his hand and he knew that it was something that only demon hunters were carrying around with them. Instead of going down to “play” around with the human, he decided to stay up there. Not only was it save but also he could watch what the other was doing from a save distance without getting uselessly hurt. 

Christophe wasn’t long into this business so he was always seeking for other ways to make people fall in love with the right person. He already messed up a few times and caused a few broken hearts, but this time he wanted to try out something new. 

On top of that he liked challenges and one of them was to make a certain someone fall in love with his right partner. 

A few cupids had already tried to get him to fall in love with people and every time they thought it was the right partner, he didn’t stay with them. Sometimes it didn’t work from the start or it just didn’t stay like this. 

That’s what Christophe wanted to change. He wanted to be the one who helps Viktor to find the person he truly loves. He knew it would be difficult, especially as someone who wasn’t a cupid for this long, but he would try his best. 

But before he would blindly aim his love arrows at people and the silver haired, he had an idea. He thought that, by knowing the other better, he might be able to find the perfect partner and for that he needed to show himself to the other. Not that cupids weren’t allowed to do this. He just had to make sure to blend in with the humans. Good that hiding his cupid wings was easy. What wasn’t so easy was the little heart underneath his eye, but he could just tell it off as some sort of mark. 

Christophe spotted Viktor in a café, probably enjoying his free time. Now or never the cupid thought to himself as he fixed his pink jacket of his suit and walked over. He still was, somewhat, sticking out of the crowd like this, but he really didn’t have anything else. 

That Christophe was chased by the police was nothing new. When it weren’t them, it was another Mafia group that was after his head. 

However, this time it was not him who got chased. 

He had decided to take a few days off of his work to clear his mind a bit and he was more as just happy that he was able to do this in a town where no one really knew him. As soon as he would return to his city, he would be confronted with the harsh reality that came with the way he lived. Christophe needed an escape from that. 

When he was on the way home, he saw how some police officer chased after a young man. At first glance he might have just turned away and ignored all of this since he really didn’t want to get into more trouble, but something told him that he should help the poor guy. It didn’t even seem like he had done something, just the police chasing after him for apparently no reason. 

As the other run into his direction, Christophe waited until he was close enough to touch before pulling him inside of the house he was staying in, hoping that the police officer didn’t see it. Even if they had seen them, he could pretty well just point a gun at their heads and tell them to go away. Maybe a reason why he wanted to help the other out of this was because he saw himself in the other guy? Maybe, maybe not. Whatever had made him help the other, didn’t matter right now. Instead he gave the silver haired male a smirk, raising an eyebrow.

For a moment he looked up at the big mansion. Even now he still couldn’t believe that he was really standing there and how his life was going to be. 

Truth be told, if he could, he would’ve continued his life how it has been, however, after he and his family got into debt for reasons that Christophe doesn’t want to recall right now, he decided to find a job which might help them out of this. His father had suggested him to take up the job as a butler, since it would be the best thing to do for him. On top of that he was allowed to live with the family that he was serving and it would help his family a lot. 

It had taken quite a while until he found a household that really needed a butler. As soon as they made the contract that Christophe would work for the son of a rich man, he packed all his things and traveled to the place. The only information that he had was that the son of the man lived alone in that house with a few other maids and servants. Apparently the rest of the family lives somewhere else. 

Christophe didn’t put too much thought into it and finally knocked on the door. A maid opened and lead him into the building, telling him that Viktor would soon come to greet him and tell him his tasks. 

Instead of just waiting, Christophe decided to walk around, looking at all the expensive pictures and all the other expensive things he found in the hallway. Right when he was about to open a door, he heard a voice behind him. He turned around and was greeted with the face of a young man, probably around his age. Green eyes looked directly into blue ones. From the way the other was dressed, he assumed that this must be the person he was going to working for.

Although both of them didn’t live this far apart from each other, they didn’t see each other this often anymore. Since Vitaly took interest in ballett and was constantly traveling somewhere and Viktor being a figure skater and being busy with other things, they didn’t get to see each other as much as they used to when they were younger. 

Sometimes Vitaly thinks about how different things could’ve been. Maybe he could’ve been the skater and Viktor the dancer, but for that Vitaly had never enough interest. He did like watching figure skaters, but he thought that it was nothing for him. Sure he had tried it a few times to make his twin happy, but whenever he stood on the ice, he would fall down after just a few minutes and gave up on it. It was simply nothing that he would ever be able to enjoy.

The Russian was on his phone as he heard someone on the door. At first he hesitated to open the door, but then a small sigh passed his lips as he opened it, only to look into a familiar face, Viktor’s face. 

He didn’t expect the other to visit, especially not this shortly before one of his ballett plays. Sure Vitaly had asked if Viktor wanted to see it, but he assumed that the skater had been too busy for that. 

“I believe you.” Perhaps the closest Otabek might be to sharing a jest with someone who could only be classified as a mere acquaintance, an eyebrow quirking upwards as he spoke. His grip upon Viktor steady ( it was simple enough to underestimate injury ), he aided the other man in rising from the floor. If nothing else, Viktor didn’t appear to be in much physical distress. He was inclined to wonder if Viktor was distracted, though the inquiry wasn’t vocalized. 

Yuuri wanted to meet with Viktor a bit later, since he had went to the hotel as soon as they arrived in the country. However, he was worried as time passed and Viktor didn’t came. It made Yuuri nervous and he decided to go and seek for the other. Texting the Russian didn’t help either because he wasn’t answering and Yuuri got more and more worried the more time passed. The Japanese didn’t know where to look for Viktor nor where to ask for him. 

When Yuuri was about to give up, he walked through an empty alley. Well, he thought it was empty. From far he could see something, no, someone familiar. Viktor. Instantly, without missing a beat, he run towards the other and kneeled down, more as just shocked to see Viktor like this.

He might have regretted it if it has been someone else, however, since it was Viktor, he couldn’t help and had allowed him to bite him. Truth be told, it had been scaring him a bit at first. He was not really a person that did enjoy pain, especially not in an area like his neck. On top of that, Viktor’s fangs look liked they were really pointy and didn’t look like they were small at all, which didn’t help. 

“Should I be worried about that?” he asked with playful voice, trying to keep his eyes open. He had lost quite a bit of blood to the point where he felt dizzy and Christophe was sure, if he hadn’t said anything, he would have collapsed. Some part of him hoped that it was enough for a while, because he wasn’t sure how well it would go next time and how long it would take him to recover from the blood lost.
