Danny Flint Headcanon! Danny Flint's real story wasn't nearly as tragic. The writer of Sad Danny Flint heard rough details of her story; a woman who disguised herself as a man to join the Night's Watch, and decided to make a song of it. Of course, said writer decided to do that thing and gave her a needlessly tragic ending for the 'art' and the story of Danny Flint being murdered by her former brothers suited the Westerosi much more and that ended up being the legend that lived on.
