Where in the hell had he been keeping all of this..?? Contrary to his swagger-filled, money-grabbing demeanor, the owner of the Mystery Shop did not live a lavish life. He was raised like his mother had been, and her parents before her. Simple shopkeepers who made their living off of what they could convince people to buy. Still, one could live a lavish dream surrounded by so many trinkets and marketable supplies. And that's exactly what Sam did during his years at Night Raven College.

Now, he was more modest. He could only imagine how his younger self would react to seeing this mansion all around him.

"Dorian-san?" Using his arm as a brief brace, Marina attempted to put some weight on her foot. Only to flinch from the pain. "I will be alright. It's probably just strained from running." The last thing she wanted was for her senior to concern themselves over her. Giving him a reassuring smile, the young Prefect hobbled off the field and sat on the sidelines.

" Sounds like you've gone pretty aggro to me... " the bluenette muttered in response. Horror games were typically a bad idea anyway, especially late at night. But Idia considered himself to be a pretty masterful gamer, and horror games didn't faze him like many others. How could he be afraid when he had seen literal horrors IRL? Kate was the same way.

Maybe that's why they had gotten so serious while playing. It was too familiar, forcing them back into their habits and lives within the Island of Woe. Idia didn't like that. He was here to have fun! Not be ordered around because Kate was angry or terrified or whatever she was!

It was a snake bite. That's what Sam called it, and from the way it looked, it could very well be just that. There was no inflammation, no pus indicating venom or some kind of infection... Just two small indentions into the tip of his finger, close enough together that they could've easily been made by fangs. It was a believable excuse; that's why Sam made it.

In truth, winter had been quite difficult on the wildlife surrounding the campus, and Sam couldn't easily get his hands on a small animal to act as payment for his friends. But he knew better than to fall into debt with them, so he paid them off in a different way. He always tried to avoid using his own blood as payment, but when there was no other option... Well, what Raoul doesn't know won't kill him.

From beneath the pinching of a gloved hand, Riddle's voice rings out sharp. Decisive.

"You certainly shall."

His free hand gestures for the tart to be set down, and he peers at her from over the top of his hand, silvery eyes narrowed.

"And don't think this attempt at a bribe will lessen your sentence. I've already told Trey you'll be joining Ace and Deuce in the garden for cleanup this week. There is a... considerable amount of paint that needs removing. And some of the roses caught in the crossfire must be re-painted before the next tea party."

Lowering his hand, he sits back in his chair, arms and legs both crossed, and levels the Prefect with a steady, unimpressed look.

That was the Master's little friend, was it not? The magicless one who lived in the Ramshackle dorm... Rosalie had never met her face-to-face, though she had seen her up close plenty of times. A servant must always follow their master, after all, and a black raven always seemed not too far from the Prince of Briar Valley... So yes, she knew Miss Enola. They had met, even if the human didn't realize it. And as the saying goes, any friend of her Master's is a friend of hers.

That's why she swooped down from the skies when she saw the human in pain. Rosalie's magic was nothing like her Master's, of course, but she was still a fae. Healing a minor wound would take minimal effort. And...perhaps she fancied this girl who braved her Master. Maybe she was looking for an excuse to properly introduce herself.

The raven dove from above, and just before reaching solid ground, it began to shift. Growing, changing in a way that almost seemed natural, a smooth and graceful transition. By the time its feet touched the ground, the bird had fully transformed into a woman before the human.
