        “Tracy. Tracy!” 

She rushes in, only to be met with the sight of her  twin  sister,  the mirror image of herself thrashing uncontrollably on her bed. Again. It’s the fourth time this week alone, and this time’s even worse than the last     - even in her sleep she looks terrified, and... is that blood oozing out of her mouth? 

                        ...But blood isn’t black.

Perching on the edge of the bed and reaching forward,   she  takes  Tracy  by the shoulders, shaking her as carefully as she can until she starts to stir.

“What were you saying about nightmares? -- I just got lost when you started using big words that confuse me.”
