The hatred of the arts is a huge (*cough gendered cough*) thing on the internet. Writing does get it worse, and I’m not quite sure why... perhaps due to the fact anyone can write, and it’s rather hard to tell the skill of the writer at a glance? You have to sit down and actually put effort in yourself just to tell whether or not the person is good. Ah, well, the world may never know, and honestly, the “why” is less important than the fact it is, and it’s brutally discouraging to a lot of young writers (christ now I sound old) to see people they might look up to (I know, I know) or just writing in general being shat on and attacked. That sort of shit scares a lot of young authors out of continuing to hone their craft! It drives me batty, and that’s why I don’t tend to publish anon hate.
I’m glad I did this time, though, for the dialogue it started in the fandom even more than for the outpouring of support.

I wasn't to excited to see the new star wars
I’m not big on reboots of older series or much scifi in general. I LIKE star wars but I’m not as excited about it as everyone else. I do however gave a bigger interest in seeing it because of Adam Driver. When i saw "This is Where we leave you" I was kinda obsessed with him and his character.He's a good actor and he is cute as FUCK. I had no idea he was going to be in the new starwars and now that I know he is the wonderful apparently emokid sith weeb I'm more inclined to see it.
