What's this? a law that taking selfies is prohibited? erhmm.. no not really. the folks in the local Government doesn't have anything to do and kept signing bills that are pointless and only for their benefits and not for the people of the Philippines. IN FACT it's just a nickname for the bill. the nickname of the bill itself is fucking ridiculous, it actually doesn't really target people take selfies but the people who takes snapshots/photographs of people in the streets/public places and paparazzi 

the bill indicates that one cannot take pictures in public and especially people in public places as they claim that is is an "INFUCKINGVASION" of the person's privacy. to put it simple if you take a photo of a stranger in public places without permission then you're fucking with the law. 

 It defines "intrusion of personal privacy" as "any person who willfully intrudes into the personal privacy of another, without the consent of that person and with the intent to gain or profit therefrom, shall be civilly liable to the offended party."

^ screw that shit, this should only be applicable for paparazzis but no this is generally for everyone except the officials can do whatever the fuck they wanna do, this will MAINLY AFFECT us Street Photographers 

where the fuck do Street Photographers gain profit for taking photographs in the streets? unless you sell it online or you ARE already fucking famous and it's your fucking job then yes this will most likely be applicable to them. 

I'll say it again and I'll never get tired of saying it (and most of us Street Photographers will voice the fuck out the same thing)

seriously this is getting ridiculous, I am so furious right after learning about the bill. there is so much things to fix and solve and yet they are focusing on this one. this is why Philippines will never rise ever again because of these faggots in the seats of the Senate. 

Carlos Zarate agrees that this is absurd : 

“Even an innocuous selfie with public figures inadvertently caught at the background would be liable for 'intrusion of privacy'. This is absurd and we urge our colleagues to reconsider,” Zarate said.

Ever since I've got my Fujifilm X100 I've been shooting fully manual again as how I did back with my old Nikon D5200, I've noticed that it's been getting me less results as I tend to do check my settings before or while taking the scene and ending up losing the shot or taking the shot but not being able to take the exposure right

back in my Fujifilm X10 days I told myself that I should just focus on taking the scene and shoot in Aperture priority or take the EXR mode prioritizing the resolution on that one and just keeps shooting wherever and whatever scenes I see but that changed when I got the X100, I've become all techy guy who wants to get things right and such, there's a huge difference with my Nikon and the X100 and when I go all manual on my Nikon I do get what I want exactly whilst on the X100 I needed to adjust with the Dynamic range thingy as it is all related to ISO regardless which value you will use for the DR (Dynamic range), it affects my shots and more often times I get overexposed images (I know, I'm not really familiar with that feature) 

things like these happens for many people, not just me. so I would suggest that do not be that guy when you see a scene, work with the scene as much as you can and do not worry on shooting in Program AE mode, so what if you shoot fully manual and yet you miss the scene? the worse thing you could ever do is not having any results because of fumbling with all the dials and settings on your camera. when you see a scene go and shoot, get close if you need to and don't ever forget to take as much as you can if it's possible

regardless of what you use (Camera) make sure you know how your camera works (I do wish I've known what the DR does in the X100 earlier) and do read the manual if you aren't sure of what this or that can do, Google will help you too ;) 

3 things : 

Visualize the scene (it lessen the time for you to capture the scene as you do know exactly what you want to show in the picture)

Focus (if you aren't sure, do work with the scene and focus on how you would improve the frame to another but do not overdo it. know when to stop and stand your ground)
