two thoughts:
1) ram vox whose speech is 75% glitchy audio clips, 25% his own voice/words. it can be pretty hard to understand what he’s trying to communicate; luckily, niffty is happy to act as a translator. no one can tell whether she’s just making things up (because she does do that on occasion, just for laughs) and vox is so lost in his channel surfing that he doesn’t notice/care, or if she actually has some way of accurately deciphering vox’s speech.
2) i just realized that given charlie’s characterization in season two (hyperfixating on her goals to the detriment of her friends, taking certain things for granted, not asking people very important, obvious questions), it’s actually 100% in-character for her not to question why alastor is dragging around and bullying a disabled guy who looks suspiciously like a super famous dead overlord from a couple years ago.
