it definitely wasn’t a coincidence that any time she planned to see nick for the day she spent extra time in the morning getting ready. nick days were the days her hair was done, makeup was on and she was in heels with a cute outfit. consciously chosen or not, it happened. stepping into the family clinic, she made her way back to nick’s office. knocking on the door and stepping in, “hey handsome.” a smile spread across her face, “brought you a coffee. was at the shop and got myself one and i thought of you and how you’d probably need it.” she paused, her eyes shifting to the chair in front of his desk, “you busy or could i keep you company?”
