lol i can’t wait to see Akemi-sensei’s reaction when I show up to class with my hair all did.
Question for the healthier/medicinal people on my tumblr:
My calves are EXTREMELY sore after a combo of 3 dance classes combined with for the first me having done a series of exercises that Nichibu dancers do to strengthen their legs. This was on Thursday and my calves still hurt to the point where I have a slight limp.
Here's my question for you folks (since the internet will just tell me I have cancer and am going to die like it always does when you medical google): Should I wait till my calves do not hurt at all anymore to resume my exercises and dance practice? Or should I fight through the pain and do them? I really need to practice and the exercises are going to become a regular, ritual-y thing for me so my legs *will* have to get used to it. But I just don't know if I should rest more or FEEL THE BURN. I want to balance recovery with practice if I can, but idk I don't want to accidentally hurt-hurt myself.
OPINIONS???
