Boycott: NHL Lockout
Hello today I am going to look into a boycott I never knew. My boycott is about the NHL, the NHL takes the fans for granted. When the lockout happened the fans were surprised by their greed of money, yet we overpay to go and watch a game. The average flames game ticket price is $60, just think you could buy a popular video game. At the core of the NHL’s decision to lockout players is a belief that fans will return like dandelions when the lockout ends. Gary Bettman, NHL Commissioner, and the NHL Owners both know that the NHL fans have an addiction to hockey and it must be filled. The NHL “accepts” the fans back when they are really just accepting the money back. They know if they are going to bring the fans back they must be solicitous.
