Waking up he kept his breathing even, body completely imitating unconsciousness. Possums did it, baby deer did it, and so did Mojoworlders unsure of their surroundings. Catalyst remembers it all in vibrant technicolor; the Acolytes fighting against this man named Cable. He had been ‘in the way’ of Fabians master plan. Catalyst did not know much about Cable; he was a skilled leader and telepath who had apparently run his own team of mutants in his time. Not someone to take lightly, though the rest of the team was certain they could handle him if he were to meddle with them directly. <\p>

The Acolyte team had been on a routine mission when they finally encountered Cable. Inside the melee that followed Catalyst took several major hits for Fabian Cortez. One left him buried under debris until he could vibe blast his way out. He had lost consciousness soon after freeing himself.

he wasn't sure where he was now but he could tell he was not at the Acolytes base or transport vessel; didn’t smell them, and more disturbingly he couldn’t feel any vibrations. His powers were being shut off somehow.  He couldn’t feel the vibrations of water or pipes that denoted human habitations, just as his connection with the earth was gone. Severed like an umbilical cord. He has to take the gambit and find out where he was.

Sitting up he pats his body, different clothes and all his knives are gone. Which in itself was impressive because he had those things hidden everywhere, even sewn into his clothing. Hes bandaged up too, though those will be rendered useless shortly by his healing factor- but it was a nice thought that he had gotten medical care. Looked like one leg was completely shattered and a broken ankle for the other. He can feel his ribs slowly stitching back together with the strange fuzzing sensation his healing factor produces. Yet the gratitude is soured by the appearance of one towering man; Cable.

Separated by some sort of barrier hes feeling Mojoworld all over again. Looming creatures surveying him from the other side of his kennel door, scrutinizing him. Hes alone, powerless, and in Cables realm. A combination he did not like at all, but to his credit he keeps his face blank and just levels his own white and blue gaze against Cable’s.

He didn’t have a choice right now because he knew what had happened; Fabian had left him and there was no way that bastard was coming back for him. Not unless the other Acolytes demanded it but more than likely Fabian told them he was dead.
