Yin and Yang
Lately i have wondering about the concept of good and evil. Humans, with all of their complexity, tends to influence each other so that those who affected will undergo a continual changes. This many influences will eventually leads into one of the two category: a good influence and bad influence, or as i prefer to call; The Light and The Darkness.
We may know the concept of Yin and Yang, a concept which describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. So as long light and darkness keep their balance, it may actually become mutually reinforcing, supporting each other.
But we also know about true nature of light and darkness. If the light gets too bright, it will weaken the darkness, eliminating their existence as if it was never there. So does when the darkness become too powerful, it will diminish the light, slowly fade it away. Either one or the other, it will ends with only one survivor, the strongest influence.
So if we’re putting the light and darkness together, what will the outcome be? will it ends as quid pro quo, providing balance for both of them? or will one of them abolish the other, leaving only one winner? When i’m continuously asking this, i’m getting legitimately terrified by the answer, as i’m keep walking towards one of those paths...
