September 21st, 1977: Family and friends of the victims killed by David Berkowitz, also known as the āSon of Samā crowded outside of the Kings County Psychiatric Center in Brooklyn, New York as experts evaluatedĀ Berkowitz. EvaāMaria Freund, the younger sister of Christine Freund, organized the event. She sent letters to the loved one of victims of those killed or wounded during Berkovitzās shooting streak, requesting their support. Neysa Moskowitz attended and represented her daughter, Stacey, who was only twenty-years-old when she was murdered. Throughout the years, Neysa was a vocal advocate for victimās rights.
