Oh, yeah, I totally did! It was in my first phase of reading in requested and offered fandoms. I commented, and plan to rec it after phase 2. Since no one else wrote it, I guess I'll try to hope this person writes more and the two of us can hope the fandom picks up at some point. :)

That's encouraging! Only rarely do the things I think turned out *great* end up actually doing so.  A few times stories I'm okay with do really well. And then of course there are ones that just get enjoyed by the recip and hardly anyone else. :)

Was the fandom pretty small? Is it competing with a flashier one? I hope you find time to read - there are some real gems. :)

Sure! Followed you back - but I can't comment since there's that pesky "2 weeks following" rule on replies without the ticky box. So I'll do it here: A couple of my things were very niche fandom -- think it's always easier to accept low response that way! My crickets story was a big-for-Yuletide fandom so I'm pretty sure it's not up to snuff. :D
