Such words struck him hard, but they rang true. It was true, one day every last one of us would wither away into dust as if no one was there. One day every one would become part of the Fiore itself. That fate was inevitable. But as humans, it was up to them to prolong that fate as long as possible. Sting was no different in that respect. There was no way he was going to allow his fate to be decided by some damn legend or some dark wizard. It was true, death and suffering were always around, and hanging over their heads. But that didn’t mean you could not fight to stay away from such lurking shadows.What was not true is that he would fall–not again. He vowed he’d never allow himself to fall again for as long as he still lived. He kept his back on the other, feeling their overwhelming presence and magic suffocating him. Just standing there at a distance was enough for him as it was. Slowly, he drew a breath and spoke, “what you say is partially true, yes, but I will not fall just because ya say I will.”  His eyes shifted to the corners of his eyes to glare back at the other wizard, “–just because  you say I will fall, doesn’t mean I will! I refuse to let myself get into a position like that again! I will fight for not only myself, but my guild, my comrades as well! I am not the same person as I was over a year ago! I vow to stand and shed light on my comrades for I am the light that leads the way….and never goes out!”  He let out a sharp huff, “so stuff it with your fate bullshit, I’m not putting up with it, nor falling for it because I  am the one that decides my fate, not some bastard in dark clothes. Now, if you’re done preaching bullshit to me, then I will take my leave.”

      “Y-your...I-I...”    The young girl’s voice trembled. the sigh    in front of her made her speechless. Though,    taking a breath, the female looked up at the male.    terror in her eyes but she kept her ground.        “--I don’t know what you want, but it wont work.             I wont fall.”
