I went for a 3 hour photo/video walk this morning in one of my favorite neighborhoods; tribeca. the geographical “triangle below canal [street]” has always held a special place in my heart for many years. I wandered these streets on the way to my first full-time job in manhattan. now I work just a tad further uptown in soho. this neighborhood is so close, but also just far enough, that I never find the time to end up here. I’m glad I decided to wander out into the rain. I missed it so much. the photos in this post are of the historic staple street sky bridge. built in 1907, this is manhattan’s oldest sky bridge. this beauty also boasts the only residential living space that exists in two separate buildings. 🌇 on a separate note, I *also* attempted to film my first ever long form video! once I figure out my approach to editing that footage and upload to my youtube channel, I’ll be sure to let you know! if you want to get a head start and follow me there now, I’ve added the link in my bio 🤗 all photos shot on fujifilm x-t4 📸 #ethanbarberco #tribeca #timelessclassic #oldnewyork #newyorkcitylife #newyorkphotographer #newyorkview #architecturephotographer (at Staple Street Skybridge) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiYhcP9sfLr/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
