A few weekends ago I had the honor in helping my friend Ted again at the New York open. As he was preparing for the event. He asked if I could physically write on his paintings to present it to the winners of the finals. When I tell you it was the most nerve-wracking thing to do. But being able to be at the tournament and seeing the winners received the paintings as trophies. It blew my mind to know that my handwriting is going to be on their walls.😁😁😎🤗😏 as an artist everything is an experience. I met some great people these past two weekends. Thank you Ted. And your art pieces are incredible. #sport #ny #longisland #nassua #artist #art #tenis #newyorkopen #newyork #artlife

Operation Gain Intel | Open [New York]
Steve stepped out of the base he, Tony and Bruce were residing in. It wasn't the SHEILD headquarters they were used to, there wasn't a constant staff catering to their every need nor was there a gym Steve could retreat to release a bit of steam. This, this was a small underground lab that the two had found and secured. The two had scavenged a lot of Tony's tech and made a 'make shift lab' as they called it, but Steve was sure that it wasn't make shift at all. It seemed pretty high tech to his standards. But this cocoon that they had created that mimicked their past did not mirror the exterior of the building. There was no quick fix for NYC, there was only plans and hopes that they could rebuild and take down Ultron.
Steve walked down 5th Avenue, constantly looking around to insure the coast was clear, especially after last night's announcement about there being more Sentries on the streets. There were new fires that had been started and he could hear what sounded like footsteps in the far far distance, but with that all aside, Steve was safe, well, as safe as one could be in the situations given. Steve stopped walking the moment he hit 5th and 69th. Of course there were no street names on this side of the park, but Steve knew exactly where he was. He didn't spend much time on the lower east side, he found it a tad too flashy, even back in the day.
After pulling out his phone out of his pocket he looked down at his contacts, trying to remember what Fury had told him about how to send a message to all his contacts. He looked at his phone quite puzzled, his brows furrowed. "Come on Steve. Think" he mumbled to himself, his fingers brushing over the keys, "think.". Moments of frustration and confusion passed and he finally managed to open a new message and typed out "Resistance operation meeting at 5th and 69th. Be here in approximately twenty minutes. Be safe. Cap.". He looked down at his phone and selected all his contacts that he knew were in the NYC area and pressed send. Hoping that he did it right for once, because the last time he send a text as Captain America he had caused quite a uproar among the citizens of Boston. He continued to look at his now closed phone and hummed, "come on guys. Answer back.".
