"Are you sure you want to do this?" His voice echoed in your ear, as he nipped at it.
Arching into him, you let out a breathy, 'Yes.'
---
Shaking your head, you hadn't been able to get that night out of your mind. Walking into the Shield headquarters, you were greeted by co-workers. Normally, you were a happy go lucky type of person, greeting everyone with a smile and a conversation. However, for the past few weeks, you hadn't been feeling like yourself. You've been feeling nauseous while learning to avoid certain people because you couldn't stand their cologne or perfume.
"Y/N!" Your best friend called, promptly joining your side. "Where have you been I've been looking everywhere for you!"
The smell of her perfume made the overwhelming feeling of nauseousness wash over you.
"I...I have to go." You were quick to rush to the nearest bathroom. Kneeling, you prayed to the porcelain toilet as you emptied the contents of your stomach.
"Y/N?" Your friend called as she entered the bathroom. "Are you alright?" She questioned, as she opened the stall you were in and begun to rub your back.
You groaned in response.
"How long has it been since you got your last period?" She questioned.
Since you joined shield, you and she had been inseparable. She even knew about your recent friend with benefit. She knew about the nights you spent with Loki.
Sitting down, you leaned against the metal wall that creates privacy. Letting your head hit the wall with a soft thud, you gazed at the ceiling as you pondered what she was insinuating.
"It's....It's been a while." You frowned, as you began realizing what was going on. "You...You don't think...."
"It's possible." She stated with a raised eyebrow. "Do you want me to come with you?"
"Please."
---
"Well, Miss, Y/L/N." The doctor started as they looked over the file. "Congratulations, it looks like you're pregnant."
The words hit you like a ton of bricks. You weren't sure if you were happy or scared. Whatever you felt, you had to tell Loki about your new-found realization.
"Happy New Year, Be safe!" The doctor spoke as they left the room.
Sighing, you felt tears beginning to form in your eyes as you leaned back on the exam table. Streams of water begun racing down your cheeks.
"It'll be okay." Your friend spoke. "If he doesn't want to help raise the baby, I will. Whatever the baby is, will have two moms." She attempted to make you feel better, offering you a smile.
---
A few more weeks went by since you found out. You were farther along than you had thought. You were already in your second trimester. Each day you looked in the mirror lifting your shirt. Today, however, was the day you finally saw a small bump forming.
Gasping you placed your hand over the bump, as you began rubbing it.
---
"Can I help you?" The receptionist questioned, as you stood at her desk in the lobby of the Avengers Tower.
"Uh...Yes, can I see Loki?"
"Go on up."
Nodding your head, you entered the elevator, leaning against the wall as uneasiness washed over you.
Exiting the elevator, you made your way towards Loki's room. A place you were all too familiar with. Knocking on the door, you heard his silk voice through the door.
"To what do I owe this pleasure?" He questioned his voice becoming sultry as he shut the door behind you.
Standing before you, he placed his hands on your hips before closing the space and attaching his lips to your neck. Placing open-mouthed kissing all your throat he nibbled lightly, as he awaited your answer.
Quickly, you placed your hands firm on his chest you pushed him away gently.
"Loki...There's something I have to tell you."
"What is it, Love?" He questioned removing himself from you as he gazed at you in confusion.
"I'm...." You breathed out feeling tears beginning to form once again. "I'm pregnant."
"You're what?" He shrieked taking steps further away from you. "W-Wh...I-I"
His reaction made you realize, he didn't want the baby nor was he ready to be a father. Not bothering to wait for him to wrap his mind around your confession, you bolted out of his bedroom and towards the elevators. Once the doors were closed, you tried to calm yourself down holding sobs at bay.
Making your way to your car, the sobs wracked through your body, as you leaned against the car letting tears stream down your cheeks.
Someone's hand begun rubbing up and down your back, as they comforted you. It didn't phase you that the person touching you could be a stranger. You were just thankful for them at that moment in time. Gathering yourself, you wiped your tears before turning around to face the stranger.
"L-Loki?"
---
Since telling him you were pregnant, he didn't want to leave your side.
"Are you ready for the New Year?" You questioned as you drank your sparkling drink from a champagne flute.
"With you by my side? Of course, pet." He spoke taking a sip of his drink.
As the countdown to the New Year begun, you couldn't help but gaze at the raven-haired man beside you.
Placing his hands on your jaw, he tugged you towards him gently as he kisses you into the New Year.
"Happy New Year, Pet." He spoke as he rested his forehead against yours.
"Happy New Year, Loki."
Leaning down to your swollen belly, he placed gentle kisses along your belly. "Happy New Year, Little One."

New Years Masterlist
“Do we have to go?” You groaned letting your head fall back against the couch.Â
The sweet melody of Tom’s chuckle filled your ears. “Of course we do!” He beamed gliding back into the living room. “You’re my best friend. I’m not going to let you be alone on New Years'.”
Letting out a frustrated huff, you rolled your eyes. “Whatever you say.”
Tom sent you a toothy grin before returning to his bedroom. Sighing, you returned your attention to your phone. You were sitting on Tom’s couch in a black form-fitting cocktail dress, that stopped mid-thigh.
"We’re gonna be late.” You called not bothering to glance up. Tom had been getting ready for the New Year's Eve party since before you were at his house.
“I know love, I’m almost ready.” He stated as his voice sounded closer than before.
Glancing up, your jaw fell slack as you took in Tom in a suit. He was always breathtaking when he dressed up, but it always took you by surprise whenever you saw him.
“Ready?” He questioned as he finished buttoning his suit blazer.
“Uh-huh.” You hummed, clearing your throat.Â
Standing up from the couch, you followed Tom out of his house and into his vehicle.Â
The car ride to the party was filled with off-key singing and laughter.
Tom had always been your best friend. He was one of the only people you could count on to come in your time of need. Tom was the type of person to drop everything to assist the person in need. The closeness that you felt over the years had begun to develop into something else. That feeling of something else, you buried down deep not wanting to ruin the relationship you had with him.
Once you arrived at the party, you were quickly whisked away from Tom. Dancing around the room, you chatted with other party-goers as well as your friends.Â
Deciding you needed a break, you burrowed yourself into the nearest corner. As you attempted to ground yourself, you tried to blend into the fake potted plant.
“Hiding are we?” Tom’s familiar voice questioned from beside you. “Not very convincing if you ask me.” He commented standing next to you nonchalantly.
“Maybe.” You giggled. “I just needed a breather.”
Tom turned to face you as he nodded. “That’s understandable. It can be overwhelming in this setting if you’re not used to it.”Â
Nodding you frowned. “Yeah.”
“Did you meet someone to be your New Years' kiss?” He questioned attempting to cut the thick tension that grew between you.
“No..” Your voice trailed off. "I’ve never had a New Years' kiss...”
Tom’s jaw fell slack at your candor.
“You’ve....You’ve never..”
“Nope.” You frowned, the feeling of sadness washed over you.
“Well, now you do.”
“Tom?” You questioned skeptically, gazing into his eyes.
“If you’ll have me, I’d be more than happy to be your first New Years' kiss.” He spoke, lifting his hand to scratch the back of his neck as he shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot.
“I...uh... Are you sure?” You questioned feeling slightly off guard by his comment.
Tom was cut off by the sound of partygoers counting down.

Tom's hands gently cradled the back of your head, as he took a step forward. His chest was pressed firmly against yours. Angling your head upwards, he leaned down before placing his lips on yours.
“Happy New Year!” The partygoers yelled as they rang in the New Year.
Placing your hands on Tom’s waist, your back colliding with the cool wood wall. Nipping at your bottom lip, Tom licked your bottom lip before resting his forehead against yours. His hands moved to rest along your jaw.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited to do that.” Tom breathed, before pulling you back into another kiss.
