Richard Clayton, an old man living near Bricksburg, left his home on the morning of the 25th ult., to get a stick of timber for making baskets. Not returning at the expected time, his family became alarmed, and toward night, a large party were searching for him. He was found just at dark, in a dying condition, and in about ten minutes after being found, he died. He had cut his stick and started for home, and had apparently became weary, and sat down to rest, and then growing weaker, had fallen over on his face, in which position he was found. He was upwards of sixty years of age

Mr. Edward Dunham of Perth Amboy died at Princeton Station, a few minutes before his arrival there, on Wednesday last.
