i heard the person who runs newdirectionhq left gleeunion because they wouldn't let her do a really creepy plot and then wanted to go back but because they don't post on the dash much (probably because of all the drama) she made a new rp that is identical to gleeunion without them knowing.
It doesn’t surprise me that the two roleplays are allegedly connected like that. It’s not at all uncommon in the glee rpc for someone to leave or get kicked out of a roleplay and decide their new life mission is to recreate it identically. Both of them are pretty much the same roleplay, looking at them.Â
I don’t understand why fully grown adults would want to write a 16 year old character, or younger, let alone putting one in sexual situations and trying to get into their mind and develop that pedophilia-baiting. I couldn’t imagine waking up and deciding to put thought into developing a teenager in high school that’s interacting with adults sexually through OnlyFans, or a child that’s in a relationship with another child to develop thoughts on how they feel about this other child, to want to put that muse in my head.
I don’t understand why these people are so set on writing in adherently pedophilic settings. They could have the exact same roleplay as a college rp instead where the characters and fcs have to be 21+ and none of the secrets or plots that are being presented would be problematic anymore. It’s literally that simple. But it’s obvious that what they want is problematic, because they do have that rule that allows for smut in a roleplay full of characters that are under 18 and there is a rule that allows fcs that are under 18.Â
The only reason that adults should be writing in an elementary, middle, or high school setting, especially people that are all around 30 years old out of character, is if they’re playing from the perspective of the staff and teachers with people only playing staff and teachers. I’m actually not sure why that isn’t more popular.
