Entry to the Southern Colonies
After a year long travel from England to the unclaimed land of the southern part of North America,we finally made it. Since like I said it was not claimed James Olgethorpe and I claimed it for England. The first city that we had created was named Savannah. And eventually after talking to James we came up with a name for the colony. We thought of our king, "King George II," so we called it "Georgia". And according to my knowledge we were the first new colony in five decades.

I cried, carried on and pouted and finally got my invitation. Well I may be exaggerating just a bit….I did say I felt left out of all of the fun. Lots of great stuff and more ways for me to procrastinate while packing and working on a paper :0)
Sleeping in the living room because my room is too damn hot. Also, I just bought these indoor/outdoor lights super overpriced at target, but they make me happy so I bought them. (: Mine, Patrick, and Claire's art is all on the walls.

Truth be told, he was in absolutely no mood to be up and about, entertaining guests. He has just finished his workload for the entire week, a feat made possibly by sleepless nights and drinking tea non-stop. Nevertheless, he was a gentleman, a proud English gentleman and the representation of England, no less. He would put the virtues of his own countries to shame if he hadn’t the energy, or at least try and generate enough energy to welcome guests who have, perhaps, travelled a long distance.
He sighed to himself before he hit his cheek gently, three times to wake himself up. That done, he roused himself from where he was comfortably seated and made his way to his waiting room, where he expected to be greeted by the sight of his guest. One of his servants should have led them there.
Once he was only a few steps away from said room, he stopped for a bit, shook his head and continued walking until he was right in front of the door that separated himself from a waiting guest. He tried to muster enough energy in him to form a smile on his features, before he twisted the doorknob and entered the room, pleased that true to his predictions, he was met with the form of whomever it was he was supposed to entertain.
”Good day,” he began, trying not to sound tired. “I am glad to have you in my manor.”
His greeting was, if he would comment on it, pleasant enough, now all he had to do was make conversation, and follow the flow of things and everything would be fine.
