I didn't mean Zeke ate Ymir and become a titan, i mean he consumed her then became a hybrid titan just like Grisha/Frieda. Proof: "chapter35-beast titan" normal eyes + normal finger, "chapter81-beast titan" black glowing eyes + pointy finger. His design couldn't have such big changes for no reasons
I understood that. I meant more that from an in story perspective Zeke would have understood that consuming Ymir would be a waste of a titan power, especially in light of chapter 91. Marley is at war with more than Paradise. The only thing that keeps them in power is having those shifters. Ymir would be a valuable weapon, one best used as another standalone shifter, not as a power up for Zeke. As “War Chief” he’d know this better than anyone.
As far as the physical changes of the titans, I’m more willing to think it’s artistic inconsistencies. There were 4 years between chapter 35 and 81. We saw all of the characters dramatically improve during that time. But maybe not. I don’t want to disgree with you. There would be more to it. The story is unpredictable and I’m wrong all the time.
