Today is the day that our yearilngs and alternate adult bases are finally seeing the light of day! We have a massive amount of moving parts going on behind the scenes at the moment and as a result, you might run into some interruptions with images. These do not need to be reported at this time. It'll simply be a hiccup as things are moved to where they need to be going forward. So hold off on submitting image reports on these issues until after 5pm server time to give these changes times to move where they need to be. As a reminder, foal art will be active for years 0 and 1. Yearlings will display for years 2-4. Adults will kick in at 5 and older. All bases besides the draft and pony have new yearling art to slide in. The drafts and ponies have a new adult base with the current being shifted into the yearling slot. As mentioned before, we will allow users to switch between the art as they choose. This option will appear in the horse's control panel and allow a switch for a cost of 1000 cacao. You are free to switch as often as you'd like.
Along those lines, as mentioned before, we do have a specific form for reporting these image issues. To try and keep things as organized as possible, you can follow this link to submit your reports. Not only do we have major changes with the yearlings showing up but we've been working on adjusting the way images are processed which will hopefully lead to a speed up in the CP and the site in general. With that said, this will likely increase the number of issues a good deal so just be aware of that. I will be working as constantly as I can over the next three days to make sure things are working as intended but Thursday is an American holiday and that means the majority of the staff will be unable to pop in as intended. Please be patient with us! We will get all these kinks sorted, things will just take a little longer than normal.
Friday we will begin our annual Black Friday sale that will run through the weekend. We'll have more information for you guys later in the week as we finish things up but expect to see a lot of old favorites and hopefully some new ones as well popping up. The good news is that with these new changes we've made to the image processing, we'll be able to get back into adding alternate shades, new dilutions and a variety of other fun things just in time for the Year of Vita to be upon us. We'll keep you guys updated on what to expect at the end of the week but in the meantime, excuse our image mess as we get things where they need to be today.
