“To the end of an era.”
“No, I’m not participating in the party. I just want to get on the train and leave.”
The day has finally come. Graduation.
Early in the morning, students lined up in the Great Hall, wearing their robes and pointed hats, as Headmaster Dumbledore spoke words of wisdom over those graduating. And to the 7the Years, who will be moving on to bigger and, hopefully, better things, he presented to them a plaque stating they are now graduated from Hogwarts.
A great feast followed, and the scores of everyone’s NEWTs, OWLs, and Final Exams were posted.
Throughout this next week, there will be a party celebrating those graduating as well as those leaving. Be sure to exchange addresses and, if muggleborn, phone numbers! And remember to say goodbye to those friends who will not be returning. It is an emotional time for all, but we thank you for your attendance.
