Hey friends, I need to raise $230 to replace the windshield on my car. It's not urgent but the full story will be at the end of this post.

Here's the deal, I know there's not a huge market for copywriting or copyediting here, but I'm queer and a professional copywriter who writes the stuff you might read in museums, nature centers, and zoos.

To raise the money I need, I'm opening up the following work:

Proofreading - $2 per page at 12pt font - I'll read through your writing to check for spelling or grammar errors.

Copyediting - $4 per page at 12pt font - I'll find and correct spelling or grammar issues and make minor edits for clarity and readability.

Copywriting - $15 per hour - I can write descriptions, rules sets, educational material etc... tell me what you want written and I can work on it.

Resume Checks - $15 - I'll can check a resume for errors, and help edit it to best suit the job desired.

Art - contact me - I don't do art too often, but I can do and there are some examples of my art below. I don't have pricing specifically because I don't typically do art for commissions but I need the money.

Dear Gus & Baby #2,

Last week I was driving behind a dump truck over the 430 bridge when a golf-ball-sized rock came off the top of it and smacked my windshield. It cracked it pretty good. I made a few calls and convinced the company they should pay for my new windshield. I dropped it off this morning to be replaced and Kevin is the only guy who knew I wasn’t paying for it, so I took this picture in case I needed his info later. But they replaced it and charged the dump truck company instead.

I realize this is a boring photo to share with you, but the only two other photos I took today were of the poop Suki left me in Baby #2′s room--something she hasn’t done in years--and of a single light coming out of the darkness after bedtime--Gus shining his flashlight at me in the hallway after he’s supposed to have gone to sleep. For the past few days he’s insisted on sleeping with his bedroom door open.
