Hey y’all! I was wondering if there are any lokeans out there looking for friends. I am new at this but would love to be apart of the community. Hail Loki!
Finished this little knotted... thing I wanted to make for Loki. Was originally going to be a bracelet but as you can see that didn't exactly happen. Oh well hope he likes it anyway.
New to Loki
I have recently felt a real calling to the Norse God Loki. I'm not sure why, but I feel like I need him in my life right now. However I have a few people who are like, "you just like him because of the marvel movies" or "you just know of him because of the movies".
But let me say something about these comments. I have always loved mythology, so yes, I've known about Loki for a while now. No I didn't research him or think a lot about it until recently when the movies came out. So what? Christians didn't know about Jesus until they read a book about him. Wiccans didn't know about the triple goddess or horned god until they were told or read about them. Why does it matter how I came to my God? what if Loki wanted me to see those movies? So that I would come willingly to him?
I personally don't think it matters how you find your God or Goddess, as long as you find them when you need them. And I think right now, I need him. And he's there. So I don't think it matters much as to how I came to meet him.
Okay, Rant over. Blessed be friends.
Thanks for listening.
