What I like most about #motorcycling are the unique experiences and the people I meet. I have been asked a lot if I am not afraid to travel alone or to places with questionable reputation. My answer is always the same: there are good people everywhere. ... Just a couple of days ago, we reached #cheilesohodolului, an amazing gorge well known for its beauty and a popular filmset for movies. ... There is a narrow road that goes thru the gorge and for the first part there is some bad quality tarmac. The rest of the road is unpaved and it was badly damaged, just a few weeks ago due to heavy rain. When we reached the closed section, I thought we can continue for a bit. And so we did. Not long after this we met a family traveling with their 4x4 vehicle. We bypassed them where the road was good, but they reached us back once the road got bad. ... The man in the 4x4 told us that the worst part is the descent to #campuluineag as it is very steep and muddy. From this point on they waited for us from time to time as they saw that we are struggeling with the bad road. On several sections, Iszabella had to walk, where it was too much mud to ride 2up. Eventually, where the worst section started they offered to give Isza a lift in their car. I can't thank them enough as what was to come was for sure not suitable for 2up riding. ... This is how we found out that they are living on the other side of the gorge amd that they went with their car for a weekend trip, being on their way back home when we met. Their 9 years old son, told us about his passion about motorcycling and that he already has one at home. They also recommended us a place to stay for the night, we took their advice and we did not regret it. .... The last section was indeed a nightmare. The road has been washed away in several places and it was very steep and muddy.
