hi lottie! so i need to ramble and i think that you'll get me, so bear with me. i went to the eras tour in warsaw n3 and my surprise songs were today was a fairytale x i think he knows and the black dog x exile, and i absolutely loved them both, but i missed my dream surprise songs, which were mirrorball x clara bow and new year's day (all of them are literally my top 3 taylor songs, and i have a special emotional connection to each of them, especially new year's day) on warsaw n1. a few days after ttpd came out, i told my husband that my dream mashup would be mirrorball x clara bow, and i kid you not, when i was watching the live stream of warsaw n1 and she started singing mirrorball and then clara bow, i started hysterically crying because it was my dream mashup. i also cried because i had a chance to buy restricted view tickets to warsaw n1 but decided last minute not to because i'd have to go alone, so i could have been there, but i wasn’t. and i know it’s silly to define the concert by the surprise songs, but i’ll be sad about this for a really long time, not gonna lie. the fact that sometimes my baby boy can't fall asleep unless i sing new year's day is not helping.
hi darling, sorry for just answering now! honestly the surprise songs for the eras are one of the most nerve racking and at the same time exciting things i’ve seen in a show!
london n7 was possibly the worst night of the eras for me by far, i lost 3 of my top 4 taylor songs of all time (long live, the archer and yoyok), so i get what you’re saying! but i do have to say that even if the losses were so bad, and i love taylor very much, it’s not the same for me as like losing falling or the 10 minute piano piece, but that’s just because harry is my number one singer and probably gonna always be. if harry ever does surprise songs i’m gonna need to do the whole tour or i’ll lose my head.
im sorry that made you upset but i get why it does. i’m sure it will get better with time, and i mean you got exile and the black dog, like!! the only suggestion i feel like giving is that you were able to go to a show and witness one of the most iconic tours in the history of shows, and they will never take that away from you! try to find the good <3
