hitman || [never caught!au]
Ā Ā To be here was simple enough, but hisĀ plans required further action. Why couldĀ William not have hired him out to a differentĀ sect of people, rather than anti-religiousĀ maniacs? Greyfiel had no choice, though;Ā being the little-known NobodyĀ did not comeĀ with the perks of choosing where the ordersĀ came from, nor did he get to decide who itĀ was that he was supposed to kill. At leastĀ this time heād gotten to settle upon his ownĀ choice of weapon - in days past, heād hadĀ to deal with whatever method of killingĀ they chose. The assassin loved his knives, but this was a distance shot, and it was impossible to throw a blade from this far away with any chance of it hitting its target.
Ā Ā The bullet tore through the air and hit the pastorās sternum, shattering it on its way to penetrate the heart. At least he no longer believed in any sort of god, but he still felt somewhat uncomfortable going through with this kill. It was not as though this man was a badĀ man, but heād been marked for death.
Ā Ā Quickly, Grey packed up his sniper rifle, picking up the empty shell before heading out of the room. As he made his way down the emergency stairwell, the sound of footsteps echoed, but they were not his own. Immediately, he froze, glancing up and down the steps to see who else might be there. The police could not have been called yet, not that quickly, so the question remained: who was there?
