An unknown fact about the fairies that live in Pixie Hollow is that, the fairies once every few years, a select few fairies from each season are granted the opportunity to become human sized so that they can experience the range of human emotions and not just one at a time. Their time can range from a year to two years. The only way to be granted more is if the fairy falls in love or, falls pregnant until the pregnancy is done and they are to return to Pixie Hollow, the baby will be given to the father.
This was how Neve was brought to life. Spike, a winter fairy was given this opportunity and took it on. She found this guy, he said his name was James, and the pair had a fling for a few months. He ended up showing her some of the worst things and emotions that humans can experience.
She was destined to return to her normal size when it didn’t happen, the Queen informed her that she had fallen pregnant and that, she will carry it to term before she can return to her normal size, and the father will be the carer of the baby. Also she was told that the fairy that comes from her baby’s laugh will be destined to find you. So, she carried her baby girl to term and wrote a note to James, asking for him to call their daughter Neve, and that he take care of her well.
What was unknown to her was that James, was James Hook. The same Hook that tricked her friends, the one who was getting sent to the Isle of the Lost and was taking their child with him. There was nothing she could do, but hope that she lives a nice life, as nice as she can on the Isle.
James didn’t want a child then, and he treated Neve like it. She was only ever given food to shut her up, Smee took care of her the most. But soon enough, Smee found other interests and saw that Neve was getting things on her own and he too, left her to herself. By the time she was three years old, her father was courting a woman on the Isle, and she was granted a sister, then a brother and another sister - but, it was almost like she was the forgotten child, which made her seclude herself off in her own home. She grew to hate her father, her siblings, not so much. She just wishes she was closer to them, but she knows that they’re doing just well by themselves.
She would go to school, get in fights and caused the rucess, yet it seemed like everyone knew that she wasn’t suppose to be there. Some of the adults on the Isle would tell her that she doesn’t belong here, that she belongs on Auradorn.
Well, if she belonged there, why was she on the Isle. The remarks started to get at her, and she started to fight back. Her heart grew cold, and she hated everyone on the Isle. Though, she does care about her siblings ( not that she will let them know that, it’s a weakness, caring ).
She does what she can, to prove to everyone on the Isle, that she does in fact belong on the Isle, that she truly is one of Hook’s children.
After D3, Neve sets out to go to college taking many classes, just trying to figure out what she is good at. She at this time has NOT been to Pixie Hollow / Neverland, and will not do so unless with someone she knows very well
