In the actual tyranids codex, it has little to no lore except a cameo in a story and a blurb in the datasheet.

But if you go on the Warhammer store, it actually tells you that it injects mind control parasites, has an AoE psychic attack that causes atavistic terror, and has camouflage like a normal lictor.
