According to Confucius, “Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you”.

 One that is very rampant now in the field of media is respecting privacy rights.

 Every online citizen has their own rights to put restrictions of some of their information into publicity. Sometimes, individuals may post pictures and videos for the purpose of pleasure and enjoyment without permission and can be labeled also as mocking. 

We, as a former citizens in the social media world, must integrate this netiquette and must be responsible enough in respecting others’ privacy. Like Confucius’ quotation that we should never do to others what we don’t want others do upon us. There are many netiquette that you need to know and surely will make you a better online citizen.                      

Think before you click. Think before you speak. Be mindful of what you posted online. Respect others privacy and opinions. Because a thankful heart and a respectful manner make life better for everyone.
