Prince: “But yeah, Miss Maria and Mx. Cyrus weren’t always one cool super-guardian.”

Prince: “That was before we moved to Ecruteak, though.”

Prince: “Mina had a hard time coming to visit us in Johto, and Mx. Cyrus had to start traveling for family missions way more often. But, even so, I got to see Miss Maria a lot more! Now, I get to see them both about the same.”

Cyrus keeps their head facing forward, the look of their expression showing a mix of reminiscence and acceptance. Under their breath they whisper in a hushed tone. Perhaps you can even hear a hint of resentment.

Cyrus: “… Though the same cannot be said about Mina, who seems to have abandoned the family almost completely.”

Prince's eyes gleam big and bright at being asked about Maria and Cyrus. He makes a big grin.

“Three things?! I could probably name a HUNDRED if you asked for that. Okay-!"

"Miss Maria is always really patient with me. She always gives me plenty of time during our lessons, and is really nice about correctiing my mess ups. One time someone else had to give me a lesson while Miss Maria was busy, and it was the WORST. She's also really good at playing games! Miss Maria reminds me a lot of my cousin Mina when we do. And also again... she's really good at talking. And listening! I think I could tell her anything and she'd support me.

"As for Mx. Cyrus, I think it's REALLY cool watching them fight! It's super obvious they put in a lot of practice to be as good as they are. It makes our training sessions really fun, too...! I wanna fight like them someday. Ooh, Mx. Cyrus is also really good at protecting me, even when my siblings or cousins get kinda nasty. They make sure to give 'em what for! Finally, I think they're really funny and pretty. Mx. Cyrus reminds me a lot of, like, skating... it's pretty elegant. They're also super easy to play pranks on. Heheh- don't tell them I said that!"

While the Sprigatito rambles on about their guardians, his voice starts to carry louder and louder. He gets more carried away and excited, so much so that he starts to stumble over his own words. By the time he starts talking about Cyrus, you see the Espeon's head tilt slightly, perhaps listening in... By the end of his explanation, Cyrus raises a paw to their face and take a sigh, never stopping in their traveling.

Cyrus: "..."

Cyrus looks off for a moment, then turns their head completely with a hmph.

“You are forgiven. Perhaps it was a matter of self-defense, or you wished to spur on a reaction. Such a thing is not uncommon for myself. All I ask is to not betray my trust after returning it to you."

“Although… I am not sure what there is to be ‘a fan’ of. You need not prove yourself to me.”
