You can now hang masks on walls as decoration. First encounter in beta was kinda creepy though. I didn’t know what that icon in the Nesting Shop was, so I bought it to see.
I expect at some point, someone will make a shared space with a mask peeking out of some gap like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

Feature is now available in live. And yes you can do something creepy with it, since only the eyes and any decorations show up!

I didn’t get to play Season of Nesting much the first week or two in beta thanks to real life obligations, so I missed some of the early development. As of this draft (March 31, a couple weeks after I took this picture) only a few items are available every couple days (every week in live, since beta is “compressed” to fit a season into a much smaller timeframe). But as you can see, pretty much everything was available at the very beginning. And there is A LOT. This is only some of it! So far, the wooden items will only be available during the season from the displays to the left of this pic, while the stone items from here will be available indefinitely.

An odd feature (or bug) I saw a lot during the testing of Season of Nesting in beta that has now appeared in live. The key momentarily appears over the nesting shop when you start the game. I don’t know if it’s supposed to do that as a hint, or if it’s unintended.
Also, did anyone else have sporadic trouble burning plants or lighting candles today? I used both the burn prompt over the candles and plants, and I used the icon in the menu. Had trouble with both. I think others did too, because as I went through the light bloom area in Hidden Forest, I noticed it took a lot longer for the plants to turn into wax on their own, signaling I’d been merged with players who had already burned them.
