Yeah, I'm aslo screwed up by how fucked up the world is. Two days ago someone sent me an ask stating that the protesters in Baltimore are rioting just because they are savages. I don't understand how people can be so terrible and get angry at somebody who just believes in equality for all people. Plus I can imagine this is 1000 times worse for someone who's black (I would be terrified) :( stay strong <3
Itās fucking wearing on me, tbh. And like couple that with the fact that I literally am afraid to leave my house these days, just a little, and I am VERY afraid of cops....itās just crazy. You know, weāre kind of taught that racists are a loud minority of people, and thatās not true.
MostĀ people are decidedly racist, some more are just neutral, and therefore supporting racism, and a small minority of people are decidedly NOT racist.
Iām seeing that more and more. Itās like, you get these people in a situation where they finally feel empowered to speak their mind with no repurcussions,after all this shit bubbles to the surface, and theyāre like
āHAHA FUCK N***ERS I HATE THEM woo been holding that in for forever!ā
and it reallyĀ makes you view the world differently, Like literally any person I pass on the street has a highĀ chance of being racist, of thinking the Baltimore protesters are savages, of being resentful towards the #blacklivesmatter movement, all of that.
Itās very unsettling.

Five things that I like about myself:
- I like that Iām getting more comfortable driving!! I mean Iām still always really nervous but at least I donāt have huge panic attacks right before I leave the house.
- I like that Iāve gotten better at disciplining my dog and getting her to behave.
- I like how my finger tattoo looks like a little ring that I never have to take off god I love the fact that I decided to get it and the fact that I decided to get it on my finger GAWD I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
- I like how Iāve made myself a daily wear uniform of navy and maroon/purple and how good I look in those colours.
- I like how I bring around books in my purse even if I donāt read them that day. I like how thinking about it comforts me and I like how people ask me if I have a book with me.
