If you had the chance to start a completely new life with new friends, would you?

Hmm.  I don't think so.  MORE friends, maybe, because I tend to have very few, but the ones I do have are very close friends.  My best friend of 20 years and I grew up together and while we've grown apart a bit in the last few years, we have so much shared history and inside jokes.  And my other close friend and I have very different personalities, but we have so much in common, both in life and in fandoms (where else am I going to find someone who also likes classic movies, bluegrass music, and Broadway musicals?).  So while I sometimes wish I had more friends, people to do things with or whatever, I wouldn't want to lose the friends I've got.

Favorite movie/TV soundtrack?

Well, I love musicals, so Les Miserables definitely comes first here.  I also love Mamma Mia, Walk the Line, and Mrs. Henderson Presents.  I also really love the Doctor Who soundtrack.  Murray Gold is just brilliant.  You get some of the expected sci-fi/dramatic background music, but also some just gorgeous pieces, like Doomsday or the different character themes or this.

I honestly can't remember any right now.

Would you rather bring a life hero/role model back from the dead for a conversation, or meet them in their own time period?

Meet them in their own time period, definitely.  Both because the period shaped who the person was and why, and you'd want to see how they fit into their own time, and also because I just love history.  *looks around for the Doctor*

Sweet smelling candles or smoky smelling candles?

Sweet, but only fruity-sweet, not warm sweet, like vanilla.  My favorite scents are bright citrus or berry.  In the fall or winter, I like apple cinnamony scents, but nothing too warm and heavy like vanilla or too sweetly floral.

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life (and still live), what would it be?

Oh dear.  I'm going to go with either tacos or sausage gravy and biscuits.  Or maybe plain glazed Krispy Kreme donuts.

Miniature tiger or miniature elephant?

Tiger, providing it was tame.

If someone offered you the ability to read minds - with no side effects - would you?

I don't think so.  I worry too much about what people think of me--which is stupid, I know, but I can't help it--and while this might help in some cases, it would torture me to know exactly when people think I'm stupid or annoying or awkward - I'd never be able to face that person again from embarrassment.  Plus, it seems you'd lose a lot of friends if you knew exactly what people thought of you all the time.  Anyway, my own thoughts give me enough to worry about stress over.

Carpeted or hard floors?

Hard with lots of rugs, maybe.  Carpet is nicer to walk on, but hard is easier to clean (speaking as one who has lived in an entirely carpeted apartment with unreliably house trained dogs).  Plus, you can run and slide in your socks on hard floors.
