"KABOOM!" is the debut studio album from the american NES-Rock band I Fight Dragons. Before this album, they already released two EPs, "Cool Is Just A Number" and "Welcome To The Breakdown".
If you had your childhood between the late 80's and the early 90's, it's highly likely that you spent some (if not a lot) of hours in front of a NES or a Master System. And, for some of you, still today that chiptune/8-bit sound of the games from that time has a special place in your heart.
Well, some of these nostalgic people thought that was a good idea mixing pop/rock with electronic sounds produced by the NES and Game Boys, and then they created I Fight Dragons. And I gotta say that it's quite a good mix, mainly because the 8-bit sounds aren't the "main character" of the songs, they are used in a quite subtle but effective way.
I could recommend to you the tracks the agitated "My Way", the romantic "With You", the fun "The Geeks Will Inherit The Earth" and the sad "Before I Wake".
