My buddy Retro Cat wrote about this on his page some months back, and I want to share it with you. Ladies and Germs, this is the “Homework First” NES lock.
Designed to keep you from sticking cartridges into your NES, “Homework First” was the nightmare of childhoods everywhere.
The description is just as silly. “Great motivator for homework, chores, grounding ect”. This is how bullies are created. Later in some poor kid’s life, when he’s wearing a leather jacket and smoking cigarettes behind a 7-11 he’s robbed, when asked by the police “why”, the answer will always be “mom put a lock on my Nintendo”
