Every time I do worldbuilding for my homebrew I have to consciously go "I'm going to make this as culturally non-chr*st*an as I possibly can".
Something that cracks me up about the Louvre theft is that a lot of cultural institutes, especially big ones, don't have in-house security but use outsourced security companies to handle security. And when the goal of using outsourced security contractors you'll want to use the cheapest company available every few years. And with any out-sourcing, they will cut corners.
So like yeah stuff like the Louvre theft isn't surprising at all.

Having played a fair share of multiplayer PvP games, and stuck to playing several hours of them tonight, it dawned on me that a fair number of gamer dudebros who pour way more hours into those PvP games than me need some therapy. Or at least some healthy coping mechanisms.
I've been getting upticks of people liking and reblogging this addition to my PSA. And im just baffled when people just say it's bullshit when I list a source of propaganda from our racist history where rats are symbolic to disease and rats carrying disease during bulbonic plagues and tying that imagery to the most well known Asian character in destiny? Especially when Asian folks get told constantly we're carrying diseases and being vermin to white society from the 1900s thru to today where any Asian person is demonised and/or assaulted for ""the spread of the china///virus"".
Do I really have to write an essay that these clowns won't read to prove that calling Drifter a rat is very racist? 😠Not that these clowns would read it.
